Repairs and Product Returns
Sonifex has a repair and test department that can repair any Sonifex equipment returned. Before returning equipment, please contact Sonifex to obtain a Returns Number (RMA) so that your equipment can be processed efficiently. You can request this by email for convenience. When doing so, please include your contact name, equipment model, serial number, address, and telephone number, and confirm if you require a quotation before proceeding with the repair.
Warranty repairs will be carried out free of charge, including free postage back to you, but you need to return the goods back to us, whether they are inside or outside of their warranty. Equipment should be returned in its original packaging, which is specifically designed to protect the unit during transit. Sonifex is not responsible for damage incurred in shipping, and if the original box and internal packaging are not used, we may need to repackage the product for return, which could incur a charge to cover replacement materials.
For customers outside the UK, returning a product directly to Sonifex may involve dealing with customs, temporary imports, and other logistical considerations. To simplify the process, we recommend contacting your local Sonifex distributor where possible—they may be able to offer local service or assist with the return.
When returning a product to Sonifex for non-warranty repair, please be aware that a survey fee of £130.00 applies for providing a repair quotation. This fee includes up to one hour of labour and covers the time required to diagnose the issue, which often takes longer than the actual repair itself. If, after receiving the quotation, you decide not to proceed with the repair, the £130.00 survey fee will still apply, and the product will be returned unrepaired.
