Sonifex Telephone Hybrid Used On ‘Take Me Out’

The popular TV dating show, ‘Take Me Out’, last shown on ITV at 8:30pm on Saturday 11 January 2014, had as one of its male candidates a man, who by profession is a psychic medium and radio host. During the programme, a large-scale video was shown to the studio audience highlighting his personal qualities and attributes and the video showed him in his radio studio using a Sonifex HY-02S analogue telephone hybrid.
Although, the Sonifex HY-02 has for many years set the standard as an excellent value, high quality telephone hybrid, it was replaced in 2002 by the Sonifex HY-03 analogue telephone hybrid
.
The HY-03 telephone hybrid can be used for any application where a clean telephone signal is required and the line is not subject to delay. This includes radio and TV station call-ins, entertainment venues, audio conferencing and dealing floors.
Features of the HY-03 include fully automatic operation adapting to varying line conditions with automatic signal limiting, local and remote line hold switching, integrated auto-answer after a pre-determined number of rings, a balanced mic/line input, low impedance balanced output with output gain adjustment, line limiter, bandpass filter and output noise gate with preset threshold providing low distortion crystal clear audio. You can also mix the caller output and mic/line input signals to record both sides of the telephone conversation.
